Ingredients

1kg potatoes, skin on
100g onion, grated
30g cornflour
50ml vegetable oil
20g Bisto Professional Vegetable Bouillon Powder

Tip

This is a great side with a salad or main dishYou can make 10 individual ones or 5 to shareYou can top and garnish as you wish, we have served with sour cream pickled red onion and micro herbs.  

The Rosti is also great as a pie topping 

Step One

Place the whole potatoes in cold water and bring to the boil, simmer for 20 minutes or until just tender.  

Step Two

Peel and grate the potato. Place into a bowl and mix with the grated onion, cornflour, and Bisto Professional Vegetable Bouillon Powder. Divide into 10 patties or 5 large if you are creating sharing rosti’s. 

Step Three

Fry in oil until golden on both sides. 

Step Four

Garnish as you wish.
