Bread Sticks with Chorizo and Cream Cheese

Ingredients

500g Hovis Best of Both Bread & Roll Mix
370ml warm water
200g low fat cream cheese
160g chorizo, thinly sliced
100g cucumber, thinly sliced

Method

Step one

Pre-heat the oven to 200?C, 400?F, gas mark 6.

Step two

Place the mix in a bowl fitted with a dough hook and blend in the water. Continue to mix for 6 minutes on medium speed.

Step three

Divide the dough into 20 pieces, and then roll into breadsticks. Leave to prove for 20 minutes or until doubled in size.

Step four

Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through. Once cool split and fill with the cream cheese, chorizo and cucumber then serve.

Tips

The rolls can be batch made and are freeze thaw stable, then defrosted as and when needed.
