Method
Step one
In a mixing machine, add the McDougalls Brownie Mix and with a mixing paddle, blend in the water on slow speed for 30 seconds until a thick batter is formed.
Step two
Pour the batter into a suitable high sided baking tray (approximately 22cm x 19cm), lined with baking parchment and smooth over to ensure the batter is level in the tray.
Step three
Bake at 170°C, 325°F Gas Mark 3, 140F for approximately 35 minutes, until just cooked, then remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
Step four
Remove the brownie from the tray and place onto a wire rack to fully cool.
Step five
Cut the brownie into 40 x 3cm squares.
Step six
Skewer each ingredient, ensuring that all your kebabs are consistent with each other.
Step seven
BBQ or chargrill for a few seconds until the brownies and strawberries are toasted round the edges and the marshmallows have started to soften.
Step eight
Serve two kebabs to a portion.
Tips
Keep the marshmallows smaller than the strawberries and brownie pieces so as to not melt them too much. You could serve this with either a chocolate sauce or fruit coulis. Once made, you can freeze the brownies for up to three months.
