Chocolate Orange Pinwheel Cookies

Method
Step one
Place 250g McDougalls Plain Cookie Mix and 35ml orange juice into a mixing bowl. Mix together for approx 30 seconds until dough is brought together.
Step two
Place the remaining McDougalls Plain Cookie Mix, reduced fat cocoa powder and orange rind into a mixing bowl. Mix together for approx 10 seconds to blend in cocoa powder. Add the remaining orange juice, mix until dough is brought together.
Step three
Roll out the chocolate dough into a 30cm x 20cm (12 x 8) rectangle. Repeat with the Plain Cookie Mix dough and place on top of the chocolate dough. Roll up like a Swiss roll into a sausage shape.
Step four
Divide into 15 cookies (approximately 1 cm/1?2 thick). Place on a greased baking tray, flattening slightly with hand.
Step five
Bake at 190°C/375°F Gas Mark 5 for 8-12 minutes.
Step six
Allow to cool on baking tray for 2-3 minutes before placing them onto a cooling rack.
Tips
As an alternative use McDougalls Chocolate Cookie Mix.
