Watermelon and Fruit Lime Spew

Ingredients

1 Watermelon
175g McDougalls Lime Jelly
400ml Boiling Water
500ml Cold Water
500g Fruit of your choice

Method

Step one

Cut the top off the watermelon, scoop out the flesh, and chop and reserve this.

Step two

Carve a scary face on the front of the watermelon; see our tips on carving a pumpkin as they also work for watermelon.

Step three

Dissolve the jelly crystals in the boiling water. Stir well until the crystals are completely dissolved, Add the cold water and stir well.

Step four

Pour into a large bowl and leave to set in the fridge.

Step five

Chop up any other fruit you wish to use in the jelly. Once the jelly is set remove it from the fridge and stir the fruit and chopped watermelon through the jelly.

Step six

Place the watermelon on a tray or large plate, and pour the jelly through the top so it comes out of the mouth. Extra jelly can be potted and served from the counter.
