Paul Hardy joins LACA School Chef of the Year final

North-West winner of LACA School Chef of the Year revealed

Paul Hardy, a chef with Midshire Signature Services who works at Tarporley High School in Cheshire, has won the North West regional final of LACA’s School Chef of the Year competition.

For a main course he cooked sweet potato and spinach biriyani, with coriander and lime pesto, paneer cheese, omelette and poppadom shard. His dessert was coconut and cardamom cheesecake, with chilled mango lassi and ‘glass’ biscuits.

The runner-up in the heat was Matthew Bennett, who works for Aramark at Alsager School in Stoke-on-Trent.
