Premier Foods Foodservice supports Fish & Chip Awards 2024

Ten fish friers from across the UK have been celebrating being named Employee of the Year which is an all-new category for the National Fish and Chip Awards sponsored by Premier Foods Foodservice.

Over the last few months, the fish and chip industry has been putting forward staff members who deserve to be recognised for their standout contributions to the businesses they work for. Ten employees will continue the judging process having caught the attention of the fish and chip expert panel, who inspected the nominees’ industry knowledge, work ethic, customer service skills and more. The award provides an opportunity to champion small businesses in local communities.

Sarah Robb, foodservice marketing manager at Premier Foods said: “As home to some of the nation’s much-loved brands such as McDougalls, Bisto and Batchelors, we’re delighted to support this new category in the National Fish and Chip awards. As the UK’s most popular dish*, fish and chips is an iconic British institution and we’re thrilled to celebrate the passionate people up and down the country who make the industry thrive.”
