Creamed Brussel Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients

800g Brussel sprouts
1 tbsp oil
200g smoked bacon lardons
150ml crème fraiche
25g parmesan

Method

Step one

Steam the sprouts for 7 minutes or until tender, then halve.

Step two

Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Fry the bacon for 5-7 mins until crisp.

Step three

Add the sprouts to the pan. Pour in the crème fraiche; stir to heat. Top with the parmesan and black pepper.
