Ingredients
80g McDougalls No Added Sugar Lime Jelly
750ml boiling water
100ml tequila (or a non-alcoholic alternative for alcohol free)
70ml triple sec (or orange juice for alcohol-free)
Juice of 1 lime
Zest of 1 lime
1 tbsp sugar
Salt for glass rims (optional)
10 lime wedges, to garnish

Method
Step 1
Dissolve McDougalls NAS Lime Jelly in 750ml boiling water. Stir until dissolved.
Step 2
Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then stir in tequila, triple sec (or non alcoholic alternatives), lime juice and zest.
Step 3
Pour into cocktail glasses or ramekins. Chill for 4 hours until set.
Step 4
Optional: Dip the rim of each glass in lime juice, then in salt to mimic a classic Margarita look.
Step 5
Garnish with lime wedges before serving.
Tips
Serve chilled with a small spoon as a fun, themed adult dessert.
For an alcohol-free version, substitute citrus juice or flavoured soda.
