Sweet and Sour Baked Chicken

Serves 40
15 minutes plus marinating prep time
30 minutes cook time

Ingredients

10 boneless chicken thighs
50ml oil
3 green peppers, large diced
3 red peppers, large diced
250g pineapple chunks
100g spring onions, sliced
1kg Sharwood’s Sweet & Sour Cooking Sauce
600g Sharwood's Medium Egg Noodles

Method

Step one

Preheat the oven to 180°C, 350°F, gas mark 4.

Step two

Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the onions and peppers and cook for 5 minutes.

Step three

Add the spring onions and pineapple then pour in the Sharwood’s Sweet & Sour Cooking Sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step four

In a baking tray lightly oil and place in the chicken thighs and cover with sauce.

Step five

Bake in the oven for 25 minutes until golden, or until the chicken is cooked through.

Step six

While the chicken is cooking, prepare the noodles following on pack instructions.
